
Piano Bar, Open Mic with Cameron Thomas
Cameron completed his BA (Music Theatre Performance) from the University of Ballarat Arts Academy in 2005 and obtained his A.Mus.A in Piano (AMEB) in 1995. Originally from Sydney, he was involved in many productions with various theatre groups.
Previous roles on stage include Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity, Darryl Van Horne in Witches of Eastwick (Arts Academy), Miss Texas in Pageant, Soloist in And the World Goes ‘Round (SHooSH Productions), Gold in The Wild Party, Songs for a New World (Devanesen Productions), and Dr Parker in Bat Boy (Octave Theatre). In 2007 Cameron worked as a production singer with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Cameron is also a busy accompanist and musical director. He frequently accompanies cabaret artists appearing at the Butterfly Club, and was musical director for Forbidden Broadway- Greatest Hits Vol 1 (SHooSH Productions) in February this year. Other previous engagements include the Australian National Youth Choir, Children’s Performing Company of Australia, and various corporate events.
